Projekt “Obalom Hrvatske” vodi vas upravo tim putovima — uz zidine koje su čuvale gradove, utvrde s kojih su stražari promatrali pučinu, i kamene kule koje su stoljećima prkosile vremenu. Svaka od njih ima svoju priču: o borbama i pobjedama, o trgovcima i mornarima, o ljubavima i legendama koje su preživjele do danas.
Dok naš bro plovi duž obale, otkrit ćemo i kako su te utvrde postale simbol identiteta i trajnosti. Od pulskog Kaštela i senjskih bedema, preko trogirskih i šibenskih bastiona, pa sve do slavnih dubrovačkih zidina — svaka dionica priče podsjetnik je na snagu i ljepotu koja spaja kamen i more.

The Croatian coast guards millennia-old stories carved in stone. Rising above the cliffs and waves stand fortresses and hillforts — silent witnesses of a turbulent history, of defense and pride of the people who have lived by the sea for centuries.
The project “Along the Croatian Coast” takes you on a journey through these very paths — past walls that once protected cities, strongholds from which sentinels watched the open sea, and stone towers that have defied time itself. Each of them tells its own story: of battles and victories, of merchants and sailors, of love and legends that have endured through the ages.
As our camera glides along the shoreline, we reveal how these fortifications became symbols of identity and endurance. From Pula’s Kaštel and the walls of Senj, through the bastions of Trogir and Šibenik, all the way to the famed Dubrovnik ramparts — every chapter of the journey is a reminder of the strength and beauty that bind stone and sea.
Fortresses and Hillforts by the Sea” offers a seaward view of Croatian history — just as it was once seen by sailors and travelers approaching our shores for the very first time.
